Back to School Snack - Apple Nachos
By now, school is back in session in most counties. If your kids come home hungry from their day of learning, we have the perfect after school snack for you! These apple nachos take minimal time to prepare, and are even something older kids can fix for themselves.

This is where personal creativity can come into play. Consider adding any topping you’d like! Coconut flakes, mini chocolate chips, caramel drizzle, etc. Make them your own - possibilities are endless.
I truly do not know what I’d do without my apple slicer. I bought this from a yard sale and use it all the time! Cut your apple (a knife will work too) and arrange it on a plate.
Now I’m adding my toppings. Melting peanut butter for 30 seconds in the microwave will really help you out here. I love to add honey and raisins or cranberries. Can’t forget a dusting of cinnamon to top it off.
That’s it! They’re ready to enjoy. Simple, healthy, and filling to hold you over until dinner.
