This time of year always stirs up sweet memories…field trips you took in elementary school to the pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins with family, all of the pumpkin treats. Something about pumpkins just makes me so happy. Maybe it’s their bright orange color or just the memories of this time of year associated with them. You can walk into nearly any grocery store right now and find a pumpkin, but what if I told you there’s a place you can take the experience a little further. Let’s talk about a newly opened gem - Bell Farm Supply!
Bell Farm Supply is located in Kings Mountain, NC. They have just opened their doors for the first time! They are the only place in the surrounding area offering a pick your own pumpkin experience! Let me tell you the details:
To partake in the pumpkin picking fun, head around back. There, they have these wagons and clippers ready for you!
There are ACRES of pumpkin fields!!! The fields are full of all shapes, sizes, and varieties! You truly get to find your perfect one(s)! Take all the time you need and make perfect memories here. So much fun for kids!

The field IS in the direct sun, so I would suggest bringing bottled water with you and maybe your favorite sun hat! There are picnic tables and Porta Potties close by if needed.
For those feeling less than adventurous or who are physically unable, there is a great selection of pumpkins that have been pre-picked for you to purchase at the farm store. The store also sells mums and cornstalks. Let’s peek at a few other things they sell inside.
