Pool Party Food Inspo

I don’t know about where you are, but boy is it HOT in North Carolina right now! Last week, our team had a pool party to cool off after a scorching few days of working outside. Today, we’re sharing what snacks everyone brought for the occasion! Keep reading and you just might find your new favorite.

One quick picture to get your mouth watering. Now that you’re salivating…let’s get into it—

Our “main dish”, if you will, were these Italian Grinder Sliders. OMG!!!! Talk about delicious. They were incredible. Check out the video below for the recipe that was used to make these!

Now for our sides - Dana brought a cucumber dill salad. We highly recommend this one for a hot day! It is light and refreshing. Summer brought a kale and sun-dried tomato pasta salad to share with us. Also a huge hit!

Does the color of these two dishes not scream summer?? Kelley brought a fruit pizza (if you’ve never had one THIS IS YOUR SIGN) and Megan brought watermelon balls with basil. Can you even have a pool party without watermelon?

Now I know what you’re thinking….where’s the dessert? Jennifer’s got it! She brought cups of Watergate salad for us! It's important to note that this salad was originally called "pistachio pineapple delight" by Kraft (now Jell-O), who introduced a similar recipe in 1976. They didn't officially adopt the name "Watergate Salad" until 1993. The more you know!

Last but certainly not least is our featured drink of the day, a cold watermelon lemonade by Kayla.

Our pool party food was so delicious, we didn’t even have to wait 30 minutes to get back in the pool. Which dish could you not leave off of your plate?

We love our team! We had the best time at our party enjoying not only the food, but each others company. We hope that you will find inspiration in these dishes for your next sunny day!
