Field Trip - The Traveling Sip - Dallas, NC
What do the color pink, the Golden Girls, a summer afternoon, and a sweet treat have in common? They can all be enjoyed at the cutest coffee shop you’ve ever seen - The Traveling Sip! Located on the town square in Dallas, NC The Traveling Sip offers a quaint and familiar atmosphere. This shop got it’s name from the origin of the business. The owner started off serving drinks out of a travel trailer. This spot is a newer, permanent location in additional to the trailer that still travels. Keep reading to get all the details!
There are pink tables outside if you want to enjoy your treat in the sun. The address is 132 N Gaston Street Dallas, NC.
You will also find multiple seating options inside. There are barstools at both windows, two corner benches, and a large booth with a table.
They have some merch in this corner. I wish I would’ve gotten a picture…but they had ICED COFFEE CLAW CLIPS that were precious!
The menu? 12/10. Their signature drinks are named after the Golden Girls. Next time I go, I’m trying the Sarcastic Dorothy! During my visit, I tried the iced Banana Bread (SWOON), a strawberry cream frappe, a strawberry matcha, and a Pink Sip. They were all great, but the banana bread was my favorite!
What I found that really sets The Traveling Sip apart is the way that they serve their drinks. They have a machine that seals pop tops onto the cans. You can choose to have them opened to drink right away, or leave them sealed to store in the refrigerator for later! How cool is that?!
and oh my goodness……..THE PINK HEART STRAWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every detail of this place is perfection. Even the bathroom was adorable!
The next time you’re in Dallas, you have to go here. It’s worth the drive! We give it the Pure & Simple stamp of approval! While you’re in Dallas, ill tag some other favorite places you should checkout below :)
