A Time for Tea with the Mom-to-Be: A Baby Shower to Remember
There’s something inherently sweet and timeless about a tea party—and when it’s hosted in honor of a beautiful mom-to-be, it becomes pure magic.
This past weekend, we gathered to celebrate a special member of the Pure & Simple team, Hannah, and the upcoming arrival of her precious little one with an elegant "Time for Tea with the Mom-to-Be" baby shower. From dainty teacups and finger sandwiches to laughter and love that filled the room, it was truly an afternoon to remember.
Hosted at Dana’s, another one of our special members, the space was transformed into a cozy, vintage-inspired tea room. Tables were adorned with delicate lace runners, floral China, and tiered trays overflowing with sweet and savory treats.
Almost all of these decorations were either thrifted or came from one of our very own estate sales! This only goes to show how easy it is to host with thrifted items!
Fresh blooms added the perfect soft touch to every corner.
No tea party is complete without a delightful spread! Guests enjoyed a curated selection of drinks and charming bites: cucumber sandwiches, strawberries with cream, chicken salad croissants, charcuterie boards, and heart-shaped brownie bites. Everything was absolutely delicious!
Between sips and snacks, we played a few light-hearted games that had everyone laughing and bonding:
Would Mommy Rather – An activity to get to know the guest of honor better!
Guess Who: Mommy or Daddy? – A fun game for us to guess about the parents-to-be!
Then came the gift opening, where Hannah was showered with adorable onesies, baby essentials, and more love than her heart could hold. Every gift was met with "awws" and smiles, and her glow lit up the entire room.
To Hannah, we can't wait to meet your little one. May your days be filled with joy, and may your heart always feel as full as it did during this beautiful tea party.
