Field Trip - Trinity Thrift Store and Outreach
Tucked between a fire station and quaint neighborhood, Trinity Thrift Store is a compact treasure trove where every shelf feels intentional. The workers (who are all volunteer!) always greet you with a smile and know you by name. Prices are more than fair (hello $6 fill-a-bag) and the space has a calm, unhurried rhythm that makes browsing feel like discovery rather than shopping. Let’s dive in more and explore the store.
Trinity is run by members of Trinity Assembly of God church. They’ve been so intentional with their grounds - there’s even a free food pantry out front. They are missioned minded and you can tell from first impression they truly exist to help and serve others. There is a large blue donation collection bin out back if you would like to donate to them. Rest assured that here, all of your donations are not marked up and sold for profit, rather they’re put to great use.
The store is open Wednesday-Friday 10 am-5pm and on Saturday 10am-2pm.
Now….don’t come to Trinity expecting a large thrift store feel. Trinity is definitely more of a “hole in the wall” type of style. The store is compact and VERY full! You have to look really well so that you don’t miss any hiding treasures! Wall to wall, floor to ceiling - this store is packed to the gills!
Clothing is not priced individually. As I already mentioned, their long standing deal is $6 fill-a-bag for clothes. You can stuff a standard size plastic bag for only six dollars!!! Do you know how many items you can fit in a bag?!?! They sometimes offer special sales for holidays or Saturdays…$3 fill-a-bag!!!!!!!!!!!! The deals cannot be beat. They are truly trying to help others!
Of course, you can find more than just clothing! Shoes, shoes, shoes fill the shelves! Men’s, women’s, children’s - any style shoe you’re looking for can be found at Trinity. Shoes are priced individually and are very cost effective as well. Shoes that are new with tags are only $3!
Perhaps my favorite section of Trinity is the home goods section. I ALWAYS find a score here! Items typically range from $0.25-$5. SPOILER ALERT - I left with some items from these shelves!
This is not Paparazzi jewelry, they just hang donated pieces on Paparazzi tags. Where else can you get jewelry for only $1?? This whole spinning rack was full and they also have a glass case at the register with $1 rings!
They often get in baby items such as pack and plays, changing tables, and diapers. The children’s section is usually overflowing with books and toys. I noticed this dyson toy vacuum for only $0.50!
That was a peek inside the store! Trinity Thrift Store is an amazing place to stop by for a visit! Now, it’s time for me to show you guys what I bought!!!!!!!! Are you ready?
Here they are! I have a ceramic pumpkin collection I display on my porch each year, and I’m always looking for more Jack-O-Lanterns to add! I was able to purchase these for $0.50 each! A great way to spend $1 if you ask me :)
I hope that you will pay the kind folks at Trinity Thrift a visit and support their mission!
