Field Trip - Veronét Vineyard & Winery
Did you know there’s a beautiful vineyard that lies only 30 miles west of Charlotte? Veronét in Kings Mountain, NC gives you that mountain winery feel, without having to drive hours to get there!
It is conveniently located off of I85 and US74.
This is your view when you first pull onto the property. Rows and rows of grapevines greet you.
This is the front of the winery building. It is adjacent to the parking lot. The parking lot has plenty of room (with overflow) even on crowded days. This area pictured above usually has a gorgeous seasonal display set up. Come back in the fall or around Christmas to see the prettiest ones!
Now we must talk about the grounds. They’re breathtaking. Some days, I like to come here just to sit. You have a fabulous view of two mountains. There is plenty of seating…they have covered picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and patio chairs/couches. You can also bring your own chairs / blankets. It’s peaceful and relaxing out here.
The patio area offers complimentary water. They have heaters out here in the cooler months.
To the left in the above image, you can see Veronét’s large event venue space. You can have weddings or other events here.
There are even hiking trails! Go on a walk, and then sit and relax while taking in the views. Leashed dogs are always allowed!
The inside is almost as pretty as the outside! There is also plenty of comfortable seating in here. They offer a range of wine and other spirits (menu below). They also do have a limited assortment on non-alcoholic beverages to purchase. One of my favorite things they offer is an amazing charcuterie board! Seriously, they’re the best you’ve ever seen! Veronét hosts several food trucks each weekend. Check their website for a current calendar for the most up to date information.
We hope you’ll check out this special place! We highly recommend it!
